I am trying to keep myself out of any hot water before registering my service mark. I want to make sure that the name I have chosen for my company get me into any trouble.
Example: (not real names)
A. ADELL - A company that has a registrered trademark for its products.

B. ODELL - me the little guy with a similiar sounding name (and domain name) that sells a service.

The catch here is that the service sold is based upon company A's products, say computer software, and company B is using company A's software to provide their service.
And when you say the two they are very similar in sound.
Is this trouble waiting to happen?
Business A is not selling the same thing and the name if pronounced properly are different and are spelt different and DO NOT resemble each other in logo, type font or color.
