: Can I include trademarked images (like wallpaper in a child's room that depicts characters from a hit movie, or action figures from that movie) in a short film I'm making? Do I need the permission of the filmmakers? What about the famous actors whose images are on the items? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Dear Sonny,

Generally there should be no problem with trademarks. Copyrights have to be a concern and use of personal images.

There is no causal answer for a question of this sort.
