Transfer of trademark

Some months ago a musical group I'm a member of discovered that our chosen name was already trademarked. We contacted the trademark owner and she agreed to sell us the name, so we paid her and filed the application with the USPTO. Meanwhile, I have discovered at least two other musical groups who are performing and selling recordings under this ame name. Based on our "pending transfer" of an existing TM, do we have any case for TM infringement against these two other groups?
