I want to trademark my company name. After searching the PTO database I found that the name I want trademark is listed as a pseudonym to another trademarked name. However the existing trademark is registered under a completly different class than the one I want to trademark under. Additionally, because of the different industry sectors, theirs is manufacturing of a specialized product and mine is providing computer services, it is practically impossible to imagine a conflict. My question is this, if my company name is spelled differently, the trademarked class is different, and there is no similarities in products or services, will I have a problem acquiring a trademark???
