: I am interested in a trademark that has been abandoned in the US for almost two years and abandoned voluntary in Canada for almost two years. If I apply in the US for the same trademark, what are the odds of it being approved? And do I need to also apply for hte trademark in Canada as well?

Dear Rich,
You still need a trademark search. If search is good then mark is ok. Can apply in Canada and I think get a year treaty priority in the US. You register where you use.
Registration is country by country.
