: I am starting an invitation/favor business. I need to know what I can and can't use. For example, may I use fonts from a program I've purchased on invitations that I sell? My I use a likeness like, for example, Micky Mouse on favors? If not, what if the client brings me that kind of famous image to scan onto a favor? Then, may I use it? The only laws I have found explained on the internet pertain to what I should do if I want a patent or trademark.

Dear Ann,
If you had a symptom you would go to a doctor for a check up. When I go to a doctor I want to get the whole picture so I can think along and not worry.
I use a general doctor for my over all check up and a specialist, such as an eye doctor. My health is good but I have rerular checkups.
I find it hard to trust doctors, but with an effort I have found doctors that I trust and like.
The law is an analolgy to medicine. You need a Reality Check®. It's now.
It takes a back and forth, that can be done over the phone but not in written paragraphs, like this.
