Suppose I wanted a certain name for my band. And i found that the name was used for a couple of different food and water companies. If I proceeded with the trademark application which is about $350 I believe, could I get the trademark on the name because I am using it for a music band name not food or other products. Couldn't one conclude that if I was given the trademark on the name there would be no "confusion" as to the similiar names of a band and a food, water company. Could you possibly email me a response.
