I'm currently taking an event planning class on the Internet. I have some homework to do, I have to answer to some questions about trademarks and servicemarks. I'm from Belgium and I'm not familiar to the american legislation. Here is the multiple choice:

1)Trademarks and servicemarks are protected by:
- The Intellectual Property Act of 1990
- The Federal Copyright Act
- Use of the mark and common law
- B and C, but not A

2)A word, name, symbol, device or a combination of such items that identifies and distinguishes goods and products from another companies goods or products is a:
- Servicemark
- Trademark
- Patent
- All of the above

Thank you very much for helping me.
