DATA BANK is in fact function on a digital watch with same characteristic with that particular technical function as I said before also registered as patented device, same aplies with ILLUMINATOR which is the thechnical function on a watch to illuminate the dial surface in glow light as INDIGLO, this is distictive as there is no translation on dictionary for indiglo while illuminator is the device on an apparatus, which makes that function to illuminate as it is on dictionary and as patented device with same name ILLUMINATOR.
But there are more such as WATCH, SELECT, SPORTS, CE...
these terms does not derscribe a watch but are commenly refered on it as functions or type, while CE is compelsary in every product in Europe the people who are making such registrations aren't they practising unfair trade practises. How can these be allowed, if registered never could have protection as such once are not of exclusive right, am I correct?
