First of all you should knock any name listed in cd rom phone directories, because name rights prevail over trade or service marks in many cases, if the bearer of such name is actively involved in same or similar business. This is valid beyond the bounderies of particular jurisdictions, see Paris Convention.

Theh you should search all search machines, you will wonder how many people had same or similar ideas.

If you have short listed your first choice of at last 200 propositions, then you should start using professional services for major jurisdictions i.e. US, UK, Germany, France, Benelux, for many of them you will find CD roms available in public libraries.

Do avoid trendy words and try to be original.
