Hi All,

I have a question regarding trademark/servicemark.
I found out some existing companies abandon their service mark ( not renewing
their service mark) How could this happen?
Is there any protection?
One good example, The company Analog Device Inc.
STock Tiket name: ADI
This company not renewing their service mark at
USPTO (If I 'm not mistaken).
I believe they do it on purpose as ADI is a
public company.
Can anyone help explain why?

regards
ken
