Can I do a fine oil painting that inludes an image of a coke bottle?[ Follow Ups ] [ Post Followup ] [ Trademark Forum ] [ FAQ ] Posted by Lori Robbins on January 31, 2002 at 02:30:21:
If i create a one-of-a-kind oil painting, to be sold to a private individual, and one of the items contains a brand (in this case an old bottle of Coke), am I breaking intellectual property law? Does Coke have the right to own the painting or demand a royalty because one of the items in the oil painting is a coke bottle?
