: : I am a fashion designer who has several entertainers as clients. One particular client has appeared in a nationally known fashion magazine wearing one of my garments. This garment was conceptualized and created by me without any creative input from the client. The caption below the picture states the garment was designed by the client ( suite by "John Doe Designs" ) instead of my company name listed. the garment is custom made and is very unique, one of a kind. How do I protect my designs from being ripped off and reproduced by someone else? I have a confidentiality agreement that all my seamstresses and tailors sign.
