NO PROBLEM!

ONE CONTRADICTION COMES NOT FROM LICENSING, but rather from diversification by a single source to cover a greater market segment of potential consumers.

That is to say, that some manufacturers (e.g., Proctor & Gamble) might have several "brands" on the market that "compete" with each other, such as TIDE, and DASH and GAIN etc. Similarly many potato chip companies have been known to sell a "lesser-quality" or "generic" label that tries to disassociate itself from the more popular brand or label of the company from which the products are more commonly known.
