Company A registers a web site bbb.com but doesn't file for a trademark. The site is up and running since August 1998 by an individual.

Company A uses bbbb in the video they transmit online as an identifier

Company B files for a trademark for the name bbbb
Company B filed for trademark bbbb in Cable and Internet broadcasting class.
Company B also worked for the same company as Company A and is a direct competitor.
Should i file the bbbb.com as a trademark that is in use now and wait to see if they get a number then file the petition to cancel? Or should i wait and just file the bbbb petition to cancel?
I made a call to the registrant but he never return the call. should I call the lawyer and tell him? Also someone they know registered the bbbb.net web site and he also worked for the same company. Basically it is a good name and they all want it. I have the record of the earliest date of use. Thanks in advance
