Corporate name vs. Trade Name

I have a new client that I have set up as an S-Corp. The AZ
Corp Comm has approved the name. Another company has had
their lawyer prepare a letter telling him to stop using the
name immediately and amend his name through the Corp Comm.
The reason being is the other company supposedly is using a
similar name that is a trade name. A search was done prior
to setting up the S-Corp and no such similar name exists and
the AZ Corp Comm has already returned the Articled of
Organization to us. It is my belief that the other company
is blowing a lot of steam as their primary name is
registered as an LLC but their have chosen to put DBA with
the similar name. What leg does my client stand on here or
is he standing on solid ground while the other company is
standing in quicksand? Bob
