: I am thinking about taking the patent bar exam next year (I have worked in the IP field for several years) and was thinking of taking the Kayton course. Anyone have any insight as to the length of time needed to adequately prepare for the examination? I took 4 months to prepare for the General California Bar Exam, is the Patent Bar as rigorous?

I have the feeling the Kayton course is good. The big trick is to be able to draft a claim. In whatever you do you must learn the law and proceedure then ge comfortable with claims.
