Thank God you have kept it secret. That is no guarantee that you will make money but it protects what you have so that you can have a chance to see what you can do.
I would suggest that an Intellectual Property lawyer is a best start but the practical solution is to get a Reality Check. You could legitimately spend thousands and not get a return.
