An application must be filed. Patents are expensive. Just getting a patent is no asssurance of getting anything of value. There is a 110M a year scam getting patents for unwary inventors. It took 25 years to put Raymond Lee out of business. He had 30000 clients only 3 of whom made made more money than they paid him. I am a lawyer specially licenced to practice before the Patent and Trademark Office.
I start with a "Reality Check" to protect against the spending of Big money where there is little or no chance of reward.
