Now the question is whether a product must always be a tangible or physical product only. Here we enter into a grey area of law. If I manufacture a new kind of energy I have every right to patant it. Then it can be extended logically to a financial product. Then again it can be a religious product whichhas a use for the public and can be commercially sold. 'Patatnting an Idea' is something that the IP Attorny use to mislead the people at large. I had discussed this with some of the patent agents but they remain focused on making some money out of me even before understanding my needs.
