Article 1, Section 8, clause 8 of the constitution I have six patents pending and all started out as PPA's. Two are into the prosecution phase. On one I received a 102(e) rejection and responded with arguments toward patentability, also I put into the record a 1.131 declaration and exhibits, a 1.132 declaration and exhibit. If I can learn this stuff I fugure anybody can. The PPA can be a usefull tool but can blow up in your face if you don't know what you're doing. The internet has changed the playing field for the do-it-yourselfer. It's more level. I'm venturing my inventions and put "patent lawyer money" toward more pressing needs as I feel my knowledge regarding my applications will do. Hang in there, Bill Guess
