A company came to me seeking a technical solution. I proposed one which was accepted. I then designed and manufactured this item for this company. One group from this company who purchased my product previously, recently decieded to take my product and have it reproduced for them by another manufacturer.
I still manufacture and sell this item to other groups in this company.
No patent for this item was ever applied for. However, I feel that my "intellectual property" rights have been impinged.
Questions:
1: Do I have any legal recouse?
2: If I patent this item now, can I force him to cease and desist?
