I don't have specific information, but this is a very difficult time for IP firms. My former firm, once the largest patent firm in the SF bay area, recently dissolved. Skjerven (pronounced "Sherven"), Morrill, MacPherson, Franklin & Friel.

Perhaps being a foolish optimist, I believe technology and startups will return in a year or two. This is a good time to be in law school and interested in IP law (in my opinion).
