: : I need to copyright a quote or a phrase so that i can sell it when the time comes, how would i do this? Darren dfry@olf.co.uk I don't think that can be done anywhere in the world. You can get a copyright on a short poem, that expression will be protected. The phrase can be used associated with a good or service. That can be protected as a trademark or service mark. M.
