It has been over a decade since I graduated from law school. My advice would be to go to the best law school you can get into. That will make more difference to your career than an "IP School". Franklin Pierce has tried to make a reputation for itself as an IP school with some success. It is not highly ranked in any other regard, and I would take the rankings of "U.S. News and World Report" with a grain of salt. Actually, take anything published in "U.S. News and World Report" with a grain of salt. If you want to learn this business, go to work for a Patent Firm as a law clerk or go to work for the Patent Office. I did both, and they paid my way through GW. Beats student loans, and you learn a lot more about the "trade". Good Luck. P.S. - there is not a lot of money to be made in this business anymore, so you'd better love the work!
