I can't afford a patent attorney so I am writing a provisional patent with the intent of hiring a patent attorney at a later date to do an actual provisional patent. Even the $75.00 for a provisional is a big cut out of my funds right now. But I have a great idea. : : : Question. If I hire a patent attorney 6 months after my provisional is filed, will the provisional ever be available to the public to view? The reason I ask is that my provisional is very revealing as far as how to make the invention. Maybe a little too detailed.
