Dear Mr. Daniels,
If a name is used to identify goods or services and it is not in conflict with use by another for the same or similar services, a trademake or service mark can be reserved or registered.

It would be wise to keep the selected name confidential until an application has been filed after searching.

There are other considerations such a the antidilution laws. We usually start with a Reality Check® to save time, money and worry.
