: : : After I implement an idea, I want to make it filed as a patent and get profit as soon as possible.
: : : How soon in US and Canada?
: : : In which country I can make it in the fastest way?
: : : Any comment is welcome.
: : If something is new, useful and unobvious it is entitled to a patent. I'm sure you don't just want a patent! You want something that you can get a benefit from----Well! not every good idea is patentable and not every patent gives the protection you need. Patents are expensive. I focus on an inexpensive "Reality Check" first.
: : There is a $100,000,000 a year scam were companies solicit inventors giving promise of great hopes. Patents cost a lot and don't necessarily make money. They are, in fact usually not that difficult to get even using a legitimate Patent Lawyer. You need protection focused on your needs.
: : It is important for you not to use nor disclose your invention before a patent application has been filed.
: : You can get free information on Patents by clicking on the "Patent Page" in the Forum.
: : Once you filed you have a year of treaty priority for Canada.

There is no direct line from an idea to money. The first thing is to be able to evaluate what you have in order to know what to do. US,Canada, it doesn't make much difference, you have to file if it is worth while. I conduct a Reality Check before spending the money that usually has to be laid out. Some inventions no matter how good may not make a penney.
