Dear Igor,
It is quite possible that what you have is not even patentable. If it is medical you may have to deal with the FDA. It should be kept secret, though you can go over it with a legitimate Patent Lawyer in safety.

You still have to be careful that you do not spend a fortune on what may be umprotectable or avoidable.
