Obtain the transcript and thoroughly read the general requirements bulletin. : : : I am planning to take the April 2003 Patent Bar. : : I have a category A qualification (Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering), passed from an Indian University. Educational Credential Evaluators Inc. (ECE) evaluated this Bachelor’s degree in 1995 as equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering awarded by a university in United States that has regional academic accreditation. ECE has issued to me an evaluation report to this effect. : : I have no transcripts from the college or university though I do have all final exam mark lists and as well as graduation degree issued by the university : : Will USPTO accept this ECE evaluation? : : I have send a letter to USPTO(OED) for confirming this but there is no answer yet. Can some one out throw some light on the procedure USPTO has on such an issue? In other words will I get a chance to appear in the April 03 Pat Bar or I will go in circles trying to furnish additional information/affidavits and miss my chance? Please help me with your thoughts and advise.
