: Question: What are the patent laws regarding the creation and sale of dolls representing public figures(ie. the mayor in my town is hated by eveyone and I like to make some charicature dolls of the mayor to make few bucks)?

Dear Mr. Rendon,
It might take paragraphs to just list the laws involved. It is my belief that it could be done but there are both laws and realites to be considered. The law is even different with it comes to public figures.
