I am undecided if I should pursue my Masters in biotechnology on a part time basis while continuing to gain experience in the industry or do I take my knowledge and apply to law school now. I agree with you that it is a matter of exactly which road to take in the fork. However, I feel that I would not possess enough knowledge of the biotech industry if I were to leap directly into law school without a higher degree. I was told that it would be beneficial to attain a higher degree before attending law school to increase my chances of landing my first employment opportunity after law school. Also, in recent employment searches, I have noticed that most law firms seem to be seeking only those candidates with the masters or PhDs. Between the two, science or law, which is considered to be the more desirable knowledge in biotech patent law?
