: My patent was recently granted and I did not realise that my full address has been published on the USPTO website.

: I would like to get it changed as I do not a residential address posted online. I have already filed a change of address and although the mail reaches the new address, the old one is still online.

: What do I have to do?
Dear Gus,
You might be able to try to amend the issued patent. I'm not sure that even if you do so that the amended registration will show the new adddress on line.

What is the importance? If you have a world beater of a patent and someone wants to buy or licence, they will find you.

I start with a Reality Check® before even filing a application. Just because you have a patent does not mean that you have anything of value. The scam operators make $100M+ a year and only one in ten thousand make more money than they pay.

It is not too late for a Reality Check®. If you have something good there may be ways of helping you. I you don't you will be better armed to deal with your next idea. I'll bet your mind is full of them.
