: : : I am interested in marketing an invention, this is my first time, and am looking for an info on where to start. The invention already has a working model, plans, packaging design, field test,etc... Arthur Auslander : : Auslander & Thomas-Intellectual Property Law Since 1909 Dear LD, It is easy to spend money to get a patent. The chances of a making money going to any patent promoter, is VERY small. The chances of spending money are BIG. Even legitimate patent lawyers can usually get patents. We start with a Reality Check® to save time money and worry. The statics I get are that one in ten thousand get back more than they pay. Even a dud patent application or patent is going to cost several thousand dollars. You can promote your invention the same way the patent promoters do without having to go through them.
