The result of this is an ammendment will be added to the end of the patent showing the correct inventor changes but the patent cover page will still show incorrect inventor. Is there a way to get the cover page of the patent changed to reflect the correct inventors? Arthur Auslander, : : Thanks for the reply. The company I work for has the rights to the patent. This is more of an ethical matter. There was an error excluding two other names on the patent. A certificate of correction has been filed to correct the mistake however I would rather see the cover page of the patent changed rather than an ammendment added to the end of the patent. Can you tell me if the cover page can be changed to show the correct inventors? : Dear John, : I can understand the reality of the problem. The question is so proceeddural and abstruse,that I don't carry the answer in my head. : My thought is that if you need this for credits, that you just add the mixup to your credit explaination. It could cost a lot of time worry and money to correct the page. : M.
