Dear /Madam July 26, 2002
I am seeking contingency legal help with a business deal went bad.
I was representing my brother in Sudan to buy a drill Rig, I bought the rig from Sun Machinery Corp. in December 2000 for $53,000 including
shipping to Port-Sudan, the rig was supposed to be shipped on January 23, 2001. Unfortunately the rig was not shipped, and the owner of the company Mr. Anthony Iorio is avoiding talking to me on the phone or reply to my e-mails. My brother had a dead line to establish his project by March 01, 2001, any delay he supposed to pay $300 penalty a day.
We had Mr. Jeffery Slade law office to represent us to solve this problem, and he agreed to work with us on hourly bases for the last two
years. We need to solve and close this simple case as soon as possible we think a contingency base agreement will achieve this purpose
sooner.
The rig cost was $53,000.00 damages from Sun not shipping and not paying for the shipment later, and breach of the contract will mount
to over $110,000.00. We already paid about $5000.00 in legal fees.
