At these schools they have curriculums that emphasize IP. So contrary to what he said you'll be offered plenty of IP classes, which in-turn will help you out job wise while allowing u to hit the ground running. I have a PharmD. and will be attending Franklin Pierce this fall. What's the job like? Well I cant answer that from personal experience. I advise u to do what I did....contact as many patent attorneys as u can. Also keep in mind what areas of IP are in demand. Biotech and EE are the hottest.
