As you know, the US is on a first to invent system. That is why the date of conception is so important.

Consider this, if during an interference, the board is presented with:
1)a document, retreived from the PTOs files, with a PTO stamp, and
2) a notebook from the opposing party with erasures, alterations, missing pages,

both with the same dates,

Who do you think the board, will, and has, decided in favor of?

That is the scenario the DD program aids in. BUT, as you and I both pointed out, this is helpfull ONLY in the US.
