The agent charges you no fees, but rather shares in the royalties the issued patent recieves. At ContingencyLawyers.FreeServers.com we believe that when the patent agent has a financial stake in the issued patent he is more focused on gettinga a broad, strong, and enforceable patent. Of course he is, it is his only compensation. Come see our website at ContingencyLawyers.FreeServers.com Dear Free, Put up or shut up how many PAY and how many are FREE. I'm sure there must be some that are contingent, but I'll bet there a number that pay and pay. With the scammers only 1 in 10,000 that get back more than they pay. I can't see how you can stay in business working on a contingency even if some inventions do eventually pay off. M. Arthur Auslander Auslander & Thomas-Intellectual Property Law Since 1909
