Dear Mr. Vermette, The only value I am aware of in a "Poor Man's Patent", is that is might establish a priority date, in a pinch, if done properly. The only way to go is trade secret, if that will work or the real thing. If you are trying to save money, you are more likely taking a big risk of having no protection at all. M.
