Dear Mr. Brooks,

Just getting a patent is a good way to spend money. Because of this, we have a Reality Check® to save time money and worry.

Not every good idea is patentable and not every patent give the protection that you need. There may be alternatives, in trademarks for instance or trade secrets, for instance.
