I am working to develop a design course with Juniors in Mechanical Engineering that will prepare them for industry. Has anyone defended or prosecuted a case where documentation of an idea was important for either liability or patent issues? We hope to identify what elements would be appropriate to hold up in court under scrutiny. Any help you may offer is greatly appreciated!
