Dear Cynthia Rollins,
Ideas are not patentable. That does not mean that there may be on way of protecting it. It is important to keep it secret and not to disclose except to a Patent Lawyer. There the disclosure is in conficence.

Not every idea is patentable so you it would be a good idea to find a Patent Lawyer you can trust. We have a Reality Check®, to help.
