Thanks, : Phil Van Herle, PE Dear Mr. Van Herle, Just getting a patent may not be worth the filing fee unless you want to hand something on the wall. Just getting registered does not give the skills to write a GOOD patent application. It take a holistic under standing of the law and practice. There is a scam industry getting patents for inventors that takes in $100M+ a year. They get patents. Only one in ten thousand get back more than they pay. M.
