Dear Mr. Van Herle,

Just getting a patent may not be worth the filing fee unless you want to hand something on the wall.
There are books for the patent exam and PLI and Kayton have good courses.

Just getting registered does not give the skills to write a GOOD patent application. It take a holistic under standing of the law and practice.

There is a scam industry getting patents for inventors that takes in $100M+ a year. They get patents. Only one in ten thousand get back more than they pay.
