I AM AFRAID OF FINDING A LAWYER THAT IS LOOKING AFTER HIS BEST INTREST AND NOT MINE, HOW DO I GET AROUND THIS??? Dear Jerry, I like your caution. I feel the same way about doctors. We have our Reality CheckŪ to help new clients orient to what they have and what they can do with it. It is even usually easy for a legitimate patent lawyer to get a patent that is of no value. So you have to looks and ask. The worst is that even some of the best patents never get used. The best patent I ever got, and for a friend, was examined by the biggest company in the field. They rejected it and then got an industrial prize of $50 million dollars for something not as good, and not infringing. M. Arthur Auslander Auslander & Thomas-Intellectual Property Law Since 1909
