In a class at university i was recently asked to write a short report on patents. The question involved the imaginary circumstance of being on an adventure holiday in America (i`m from Scotland). Whilst on holiday i come across a piece of very useful mountaineering equipment. It is patented in America, but is not available in the UK nor has a UK patent been sought. There is a market for such a product in Europe. What options are open?
Any information/advice would be greatly appreciated.
