Dear Mr Pratte,
We do patent searches.

Even a patent search could be a waste of money, even though it costs a lot less than a GOOD patent application.

There are advertising scam operators that actually get patents for their clients. Only one in ten thousand make more money than they pay. The scammers charge just about what a legitimate patent lawyer would charge.
