I have not looked recently, but I believe there is a time limit to request a regrade. Whether this was instituted as part of the AIPA, I doubt it. Even if they did, I highly doubt they would make it retroactive as the AIPA became law in 1999 and according to your info you took the exam in 1997.

You seem pretty close to the passing grade of 70 and you seem to be interested in patent law.. Why not go for it again?

: I am a full time engineer and part time inventor. Over the years I have prosecuted to issuance many of my own patent applications. I took the patent bar in 1997 and received a 64 and 63 respectively. An acquaintance told that that he believed that some of the changes in the law in the AIPA could be of help in requesting a regrade/appeal of the exam results. Is anyone aware of anything to do with the AIPA that would help with regards to exam results?
