Career in patent law

Hello,
I am a 1st-year law student at the University of Michigan.
I have considered pursuing a career in patent law, but
I am unsure if I would be marketable or not. I did not
complete a technical degree (I have a BA in Russian), but
I completed 40 hours of physics, chemistry, and biology
along the way. I am able to qualify to take the patent
bar exam, but do I have a legitimate chance at landing a job in
the field? Is there anything I should do now that I
am in law school to increase my chances?
Any help or advice is much appreciated.
