i have designed, built, and sucessfully used my prototype (yee-haw) i've tried to do a little
pre-patent search before obtaining a patent attorney. but i don't understand all of the numbers, classifications, or cross-references. is there somewhere i can get this information before going to the attorney? i've even narrowed my list of attorneys to 15 out of 35. I was also wondering exactly which fees would apply to me, and when are they due (i.e. basic application fee, design app. fee, patent enrollment app. fee, patent post fees, i think i can figure out the patent maintence fees 3.5, 7.5, 11.5 yrs) my children, and family love my invention, my boyfriend hates it (i think insecure i may become too independent for him) sorry TMI. if you can give me any answers i would greatly appreciate it. thanks, jacs
